David stifled a frustrated sigh. Normally he was happy when equal rights and full protections were extended to minorities. But in this case...he was surprised, a bit at himself, but mostly at who was involved.
"I think that's everything for now," David said to the bereaved.
"Are you certain?" she asked.
"I'm sure," he said as reassuringly as he could. "Tell you what, here's my card," pulling it out of his pocket and handing it to her - an action that was practically reflex. "If you think of anything else, don't hesitate to call, Miss -"
"Just call me Judy," she said. "Do you need me to describe Punch again? I can do that."
