Nikki looked like she wanted to go another round with some of the guys who had cornered them here.
David wasn't sure how many rounds Nikki - or himself or Liz and Colby - had already been through. The dudes packed some nasty punches, that was for sure and certain.
"Still nothing," Liz mouthed after re-re-re-...-re-checking the walkie-talkies and earwigs they'd carried in on their persons.
"The hell's going on?" Colby asked rhetorically, then spat a little crimson on the floor.
"Surrender now!" the team was told.
"No way in hell!" Nikk shouted back.
And then, up in the rafters, a voice stated to all and sundry, that "I am the terror that flaps in the night..."
