Numb3rs drabble: "Honeymoon considerations"

Summary: On their honeymoon, Amita and Charlie visit one of the older settlements (that’s still in use) in the Triad.

The wedding went off without a hitch. And when Charlie and Amita arrived in Greensboro, North Carolina for their honeymoon (Don was covering all expenses), it was a tough call to decide where to have the celebratory dinner. After applying number theory to several brochures and maps (leading the Waffle House waitress to think they were either nuts or secretly filming this for a movie or tv show), the happy couple decided on Old Salem.
There was a restaurant tucked away in the midst of the Moravian community, one which had no difficulty whatsoever in satisfying their dietary requirements. That it was rustic didn’t mean the chairs were uncomfortable.
After a delicious and filling meal, they wandered up to the bakery to inhale the heavenly scent of freshly-oven-baked bread, and around the settlement. In the museum, the bookstore, and what had at one time been the home for craftsmen. And the Moravians were still here, they were assured.
“We could do this,” Charlie said as the day drew to a close. “We could teach math here, maybe grow some crops in the back yard.”
Amita just hugged his arm, leaning affectionately against him. “We could,” she agreed.
