So, it's Merlin day....
...and I'm depressed. I'm actually depressed that it's Merlin day. How did that happen? When the season started, I couldn't freaking WAIT for it be Merlin day! When my cable line coming in to my house got damaged three days before the premiere, I went out and bought a freaking hot spot just to make sure I didn't miss the show!
And now, in such a short time, it's come to this...semi-apathy.
I don't know if it's that I still believe wholeheartedly that this is the last season, and so we only have a few new episodes left, or if it's because of what they've done to my poor show this season (and continue to do to it!).
Actually, it's probably both.
I have to work today, so I won't be at home when the show actually airs. When I get home, I will duly download it and watch, but with almost a sense of duty toward supporting Colin Morgan's work and the other great actors on this show, rather than any actual excitement about the storyline. At this point, I just watch with the hope I will find actual MOMENTS I can enjoy, at least, because the utter lack of logic, continuity, and character development has me tearing my hair out otherwise. Le Sigh.
So, since I'm having such a difficult time remaining enthused about the new shows, I've decided that I'm going to scrounge up some Merlin videos that DO make me smile.
This video had me cracking up. I'm sure that the video could have been about five times longer, seeing how many times Arthur has actually said it on the show, but it's still awesome. Hope it gives you a chuckle today!
And I found another great video of S1 clips that illlustrate why we love these guys so much!
