i bake DAMN good pie.

Ooooh, yes, ma'am! I have me here a slice of pumpkin and a slice of apple pie. They are fiiiiiiiine.

That's what I did last night, after going to the store to pick up more Thanksygivingy groceries in the mad rush. I also updated my site with 2 poems and pie crust and filling recipes. Soon, you'll be baking pie just as fine as mine! Click here.

Smeg has spent the past two evenings planting her bulbs in the little terraces Dad has made between the pool and the fence. Poor Smeg. She turns 17 next week. I can hardly believe it. My little Smeggy is growing up so fast!

I need to get to Hancock Fabrics for this yarn I haven't been able to acquire. My friend Jackie, who works at Michael's, said they wouldn't be getting it in for a week and I WANT IT NOW. >o I'm thinking of making some more people presents, because I'm an overachiever like that. A lazy one. I really have wanted to do nothing but crochet lately!

Which is why I've only written 7 poems since I updated my site. That's scarcely a poem a week. I wish I could get prolific again. :(

I also need to go shopping for many other things.

Oh, on Tuesday, we took that quasi-driver's test with the nice guy from the Safety Council. He was really cool and calm and informed us at the end, in the nicest way possible, that we're absolutely terrible drivers. Personally, I think Smeg is much better than I am. We also went shopping with Megan, which was fun, and then we played Trivial Pursuit and tried to teach her to knit, and I taught Smeg and Megan both how to crochet. They don't think it makes any sense and it makes me sad. :( I succeeded with Choco!!

Anyway, so I'm going to eat pie and get out my yarn and crap. Happy Thanksgiving, guys!
