(no subject)
I am sitting in my bedroom, in peace for the first time all day. It is wonderful. And as I am sitting here I am missing all you loverly people on the east coast at the annual New Year's Eve eve party at Amy's. I hope you are all having an awesome time! Maybe next year or the year after when I come back to the east coast for good.
I spent my entire day like this:
7:30am: drive Steve to work
7:45-8:30: breakfast and start cleaning
8:30-9:15: gave Bentley a bath and cleaned up the aftermath
9:15-10:30: cleaned (see a trend yet?)
10:30-11:30: took Bentley to the pet store and the sportsman warehouse for socialization
11:30-1:30: lunch, errands
1:30-3:30: cleaned
3:30-4:30: nap
4:30-5:30: cleaned (the place was really dirty...)
5:30: pick Steve up from work
6:00-8:40: cooked 2 dinners ( fried chicken for 2 friends and a different chicken dish because Steve didn't want fried chicken)
Now: relaxxx
Bentley is starting to turn from puppy to dog. He's beginning to get his adult coat. He is getting leaner and more muscular. And he is starting to calm down a smidge. Like almost infinitesimally, but still calming down. He's finally starting to learn how to walk on a leash, but now he pulls. This is still better than not walking at all, which is what he was doing for the last 5 weeks. My puppy is growing up!
