Classics
There was a recent Any Questions discussion about the relevance of studying dead ancient languages in schools (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00vy3y7#synopsis).
Inevitably, there followed a piece by Mary Beard in her blog (http://timesonline.typepad.com/dons_life/2010/11/classics-for-all.html).
And Mary is keen to promote a new initiative called 'Classics for All' (http://www.classicsforall.org.uk/about-us/).
