Giggle fit
(Possibly of note only for linguists.)
Phil was watching a YouTube video of someone performing one of the Ceremonial Magick Banishing rituals. I was in the other room when he started, and it started with some bing-bong chime sounds then long chanted syllables. I thought it was a Tibetan monk. Then I heard the gutteral banishing part, and realized what he was watching.
But the more I listened, the more I giggled uproariously. It sounded a bit like Daniel Jones intoning his Cardinal Vowels.
I can't help it, I giggle whenever I hear chanting that reminds me the Jones recording.
