RP: Party at the Hog's Head

Draco had come early to make sure that everything was ready, and to speak to Dumbledore in person about the bill; apparently Draco's goblins had been quite thorough, covering every eventuality, and everything was just in the process of getting ready. A huge banner spread across the bar read "CONGRATULATIONS N.E.W.T. STUDENTS!" in letters which changed colour. Even that seemed to brighten up the place, but the truth was that Draco suspected that it had seen a mop, which was quite impressive, all things considered, since he hadn't stipulated it in his letter.
Wearing black, with the hope that he could fade in for once and not be noticed by his classmates, Draco made one last sweep of the room. The tables were all arranged around the outside of the room and up one end, making it slightly more difficult to pass between them, but clearing a reasonable amount of space up the other end of the large room, where the band had managed to set up. Music would make people relax; and while it was only a quartet, it would not be deafening, but still reasonable enough to string up a dance to. If anyone quite felt like dancing after the exhausting week they'd had.
Of course, there was still another exam tonight... Draco suspected that a few people might not come for that reason. It was his own fault - since he didn't actually do Astronomy himself, he hadn't actually registered that the exam was at nighttime. It wasn't like he could have changed the booking, however. They would simply have to put up with it.
At least he'd managed to convince Aberforth to make it open - anyone could attend, but there were only free drinks for the NEWT students. Somehow, he suspected that it might make it a more entertaining evening.
