Alicia looked bloody amazing, and Oliver knew he'd need to keep some distance between them when they danced. That dress was...well, it was short. And if there was one think Ollie liked, it was legs.

"We shall, mi lady," he said after they'd deposited their coats. "You look positively sinful this evening," he said into her ear.

"Happy Birthday. You'll have to wait until tomorrow for your gift," he winked.

Alicia struck a pose and then laughed. "Thank you. I don't quite fit into this thing like I used to. Ah, the college days. When I was skinny and drunk all the time."

That made her laugh again, because she was so much happier now, lovehandles and all.

She shook her head. "I've already got what I want, but thank you." She led him out onto the dance floor immediately.

"I clearly need to worship your body more often," he said softly. "Look pretty bloody good to me."

He grinned, pulling her to him to dance. "Well, I'm sure there will be something else I can get you. I'm very resourceful, you know."

Katie apparated to the Belladonna, shedding her coat once she was inside. Knowing Alicia's fondness for ridiculously tiny dresses she'd shortened the hemlines on one of hers with her wand just to make Al laugh. Of course, she'd be spending the entire night hoping she wasn't flashing everyone, but that was another story.

She quickly spotted Al and Ollie and headed over to them, gift tucked under her arm. She'd followed Fleur's suggestion and bought Al a deliciously sexy bra and panty combo. She hoped Al didn't smack her.

"Hello gorgeous!" She said as she approached. She put her hands on either side of Al's face and pulled her down for a very sloppy kiss. "Happy birthday, Al," she said with a laugh.

Alicia turned from Oliver as the song winded down and she heard Katie approaching. She wolf-whistled to see what she was wearing. "Look at you!" she said, and then permitted Katie's sloppy kiss, kissing her back with enthusiasm. "Thank you! Was that my gift? Don't tell Penny, but your girl-kisses are better. Less flailing."

She fleetingly hoped Oliver wouldn't mind, but really, she wasn't going off to sleep with Katie, and she was a little annoyed at herself for even wondering if he would be. She was allowed to kiss whatever girl friend she wanted.

"What is this?!" she asked, motioning at Katie's legs. "Your dress is shorter than mine! Upstaging me at my own party," she laughed.

To her surprise, Al actually kissed her back. "No that wasn't your gift, silly. And of course my girl kisses are better than Penny's. I learned to kiss girls in gay Paris," Katie said, affecting a French accent on the last two words. She handed Al the parcel. "This is your present, love."

Katie beamed at her. "I thought you'd enjoy that. I did it just for you. Merlin, how do you sit in these things? They're indecent. I think you've redefined Gryffindor bravery by wearing these damn things all the time."

Alicia wiped her mouth daintily. "Wet, though," she said, and shrugged. Katie handed her a parcel and she grinned excitedly.

"Should I open it now!" she asked- well, exclaimed. So much for convincing Oliver she didn't want gifts. She loved presents.

Alicia laughed. "Well, it's a science, really. Takes lots of bending over in the fitting room to make sure it's just right. I learned how to dress skankily in skanky college," she said, realizing she had just made up a word and hadn't even had a drink yet.

Roger had never been to Belladonna before -- hadn't even really made it back to the Limping Thestral since Katie's birthday a while back, so this should be fun. He took off his coat and looked around. A lot less seedy, not that there was anything wrong with seedy. He'd had a great time that night, too.

He wanted to wish Al a happy birthday; she was over talking to Katie and Oliver for the moment though, so he walked to the bar and ordered a beer, listening to the music.

Wayne hadn't been to Belladonna since he'd come to that Weird Sisters concert with El. Was an improvement from the pub where Katie had her birthday dancing, though mostly just cause it was cleaner. The place had a good crowd already there when he arrived, and he recognized a few people who were likely there for Alicia's birthday, too.

He saw Alicia out dancing, so he went to the bar to get a drink. Figured he'd dance after. When he got there, he spotted Roger. "Hello, mate. How're you doing?"

"Hey Wayne," Roger grinned and took a sip of his beer. "I'm pretty good; only just got here, myself. Good to see you made it; I haven't seen you since the New Years' party."

He looked around a bit. "You ever been here before?"

"Couldn't miss this. Alicia'd hex me, no doubt, if I dared," he said with a laugh.

"Yeah, came here to see the Weird Sisters awhile back, actually. Nice place with a good dance floor." He ordered a pint and took a drink. "Seems like some people are already here. I mean, for Alicia, not just to dance and all."

"Did you have a good New Year's Day and all? Didn't spend it hung over, I hope."

Dean had stopped by Carine's studio late in the afternoon at her request. They were supposed to just go over some additional details now that he'd had a week to think about everything, but their half hour chat turned into a three-hour in depth introduction to the studio and every other little thing she could think to tell him. He didn't mind--had had a brilliant time, in fact--but it meant that by the time he arrived at Belladonna, it was a lot later than he'd intended. He'd even briefly considered just going home and seeing if Seamus and Neville were there, but he had already gotten Alicia a present...and seeing Katie again wouldn't be so bad either ( ... )

"Dean!" Katie squealed, and grabbed his hand. "It's horrible. I shortened my dress as a joke, thought Al would get a kick out of it, but now I don't know how to undo it. And I'm terrified of flashing someone. I can't sit down! Merlin, I'm such an idiot."

He tried really hard not to laugh. "Well, I'd try to help you out, but I'm afraid any bloke in his right mind would be crazy to suggest anything that would 'fix' this lovely dress." He resisted glancing down at her legs again, though the urge was great. He gave an exaggerated sigh. "But since I'm not quite sane myself...why don't you just pop home and change?"

His eyes flicked downward, and he groaned at his lack of willpower. Was it really his fault if she had really nice legs? "I'm afraid that, flashing or not, that's going to be a distraction."

"That's a good idea. Do you think Al will notice if I leave? I don't want her thinking I'm bailing on her," Katie said contemplatively.

"Well, I wouldn't want you to get distracted, Dean," Katie said with a wry smile. "But before I go, it's been a week since I last tasted your fabulous lips." She leaned up to kiss him, hoping that she wasn't exposing her backside.

It was fortunate that Ron had wanted to go to Alicia's party. If he hadn't, then Hermione wasn't entirely sure if she'd have gone with Harry or not. Normally, it wouldn't have even been something she thought about. Now, though, things were so strange that she didn't know if Harry would have wanted to go with her or not. Ron had planned to go, though, so it wasn't something she'd had to find out. It was funny how relieved that made her, even if the question was still in her mind ( ... )

"Right." Harry stood there awkwardly for a few moments as Hermione went to go sit. He didn't know whether that meant she wanted him to sit with her, considering -- things had been a bit too weird lately to tell. She was wearing the dress again, the same one she'd worn at New Years; why had she gone and done that? Now he was not only noticing how she looked tonight, but he was also remembering that night, and morning, two weeks ago. He watched her walk to the table and swallowed.

He was thirsty, so maybe he could get the three of them something to drink. He vacillated for a second before he headed to the bar, getting a pint for himself and Ron and some water for Hermione. He brought them back to the table before he took a seat.

Alicia was having fun making her rounds. She'd have to return to Wayne soon though, to get her next drink and possibly a dance. On her way back to the bar to find him, she noticed Harry taking drinks back to a table and smiled in delight. She wasn't sure who all would come, and she had to admit she was a bit surprised to see Harry, Ron and Hermione all sitting at a table.

She swooped down and kissed them all on the cheeks before they could protest. "Thank you all for coming!" she exclaimed, excited. "That is, if you're here because of me. I suppose you could have just decided to go clubbing this weekend. Either way, I'm happy to see you."

Ron went with her to sit down while Harry went to the bar. When he came back, he had drinks with him. She took the water and smiled. "Thanks."

Before they'd even settled in, Alicia approached the table. "Happy birthday, Alicia," she said, wondering if it was appropriate to give her her gift now or if she should wait. "We're here for you, of course."
