so i promise i have another story to post. it's still in its "editing" stages, so you'll just have to wait a little longer. you'll live, i promise.
on a somewhat unrelated note, for the first time EVER my office is actually almost quiet. mostly because 2/3rds of the people that work in this room were moved to a different one. that'll be me on tuesday. which means (a) the noise level will go back up to its usual state, somewhere between extremely loud and deafening, and (b) i have to pack what junk i have in my office in preparation for the move.
i somehow managed to cut my foot, which is weird because the cut is on my heel. and if you've ever seen my feet (i'm sorry), you'll know that they're completely calloused up... yummy... so how i managed to cut it is beyond me. i would have thought a chainsaw would be the only thing to cut through the rhino-like skin on my feet. or maybe a lightsaber...
so, one of the two people left in this part of the building (the second person being me) has been playing with his cell phone ringers. it was amusing for about 2 seconds. but then i got over the excitement of the music, and just became annoyed. if i hear "hellomoto" ONE MORE TIME, he's gonna wish he had never started working for motorola.
one of the movers just walked into my cubicle to ask if i was still using the empty boxes sitting by the entrance. i was tempted to be like, "does it LOOK like i've started packing?" but i decided not to... mostly b/c he was hot. thought you oughta know.
OMG i can't wait for hp6 to come out. i cheated and went to one of those "gossip" sites, to see what's the what on the new book. there was really only 1 good bit of information - all the rest was rubbish.
ok, i really should start packing (instead of the oodles of work i could be doing). only b/c i have to leave soon to go pick up the lori from THE WORST AIRPORT IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD. not only do i have to pay $1.80 just to GET to the freaking airport, but i then have to pay another $2.00 to park there for 10 minutes. it's days like today that i miss DFW airport. it's a total mess, but at least you don't have to give up your lunch money just to pick someone up.
