feliz navidad!
I am curled up in bed with Ravi, wearing my brand new, super soft robe and eating chocolate-covered bing cherries. Oh, the extravagance!
Ravi and I went out to my parents' house for the holiday. We ate tons of food (broccoli cheese, green bean and corn casseroles, candied yams, oyster stuffing, ham, pork roast, salad...as well as chocolate covered pretzels, peanut M&M's, cream cheese and pepper jelly and coffee with peppermint mocha creamer...ahhh, just thinking about it makes me want to die, yet here am am with the cherries...) and watched TV all day. Speaking of, they show the weirdest shit on TV on holidays! Thanksgiving was a marathon of "World's Dumbest Criminals" and today was marathons of "Snapped!" and "Law and Order," as well as some movie about Ed Gein. Merry fucking Christmas! We also watched holiday episodes of "The Beverley Hillbillies" and "Gunsmoke," which was kind of corny but also fun.
Oh yes, the loot!:
-delicious gray robe from Victoria's Secret with fleece-y lining
-matching gray sweater slippers
-VS tote bag
-a nice bottle of merlot
-nail polish set
-earbuds (I had asked for these)
-fairy rear-view mirror accessory
-"key finder" thing for purses (hangs on inside of purse)
-Keyless entry and new tires for the car (going get that Saturday)
-$50 from my grandma
So, all in all, a very nice Christmas. I really adore my gifts and I'm glad I got to spend the holiday with people I love :)
