I've been watching a family of robins the last couple of days -- the mother (I assume it's the mother -- they seem to be the most invested in getting the fledglings out on their own) hops around, followed by three fledglings, digging around for bugs while they watch. The snowdrops are blooming in the side yard, it's about 60 degrees, and very windy.  I was out quite a bit, walked about three times as much as usual (not that that's all that much, these days, but enough to tire my legs out), and thoroughly enjoyed the day (except for the wind, which the National Weather Service has taken to calling "breezy" in ( Read more... )
