And now I can't access my YoutTube Channel.  Google has changed the name on my account and won't allow me to sign in with my old user name.

For some reason, I can't get into my gmail, I can't get into Blogger, but at least YouTube recognizes me -- it sent me a message last night saying "Welcome to YouTube."  I've had a YouTube account since before Google bought it.  Ditto Blogger ( Read more... )

Well, Windows has managed to update itself so that I can no longer import photos from my MP3 player to my computer.  It's telling me that the "device" won't work with USB3 ports, but I've imported photos into this computer before, so it has to be an "update."

Just another reason to hate Windows 8.

Even though everything's under control, it's making me nuts.  I signed the lease two days ago, arranged for all the utility accounts, phone, internet, etc., scheduled the movers, and I still have a week to go.  My life is a folder full of lists right now ( Read more... )

This happens periodically, and it's always annoying.  It's not permanent, but it's a royal pain, particularly when I have writing commitments.

Happily, perhaps, I discovered a huge number of photo files that seem never to have gotten transferred to my new computer, so I guess I get to think in pictures for a while.

I may have to call in the National Guard.  It's pretty desperate.  And it's only been a few days since I cleaned it off.

In other news, I managed to make it through Friday the 13th without injuring myself.

What a total cowpat of a day.

I managed to get nothing off of a very full plate.

I'm just going to go home, watch the end of Mirage of Blaze, and eat something self-indulgent.

And then start over tomorrow.
