How I Met Your Mother
I seriously wish this stupid ass show had not been renewed. That's the only reason I can come up with for how boring, lame, uinteresting this season has been. Nothing is happening, at all. They are just stalling out now until May. I bet that if they knew this was it, we'd be seeing a hellva lot more stuff, then this crap. I want to see Robin shop for her wedding dress with Lily, I want her to talk about her anxiety about being married, the big changes that are happening in her life, I want to see her pick out her cake, make plans with Barney about the future. You know, stuff you do, when you are freakin' getting married. Instead, we get this shit and I am tired of it. What the fuck was the point of getting them back together, if we will NEVER see them BE together in a way that isn't insulting?
How stupid are they to assume it was a good idea to shit on one of the nice moments during the proposal? Barney burning the playbook was the moment when Robin realized that she could marry him. How awesome is that? We NEVER get her feelings and we were told that that gesture meant something to her. Only to cut to Barney telling Ted that he burnt a lesser copy. Unreal. I could have understood if A) he burnt HIS copy of the playbook B) kept a copy for Ted C) hid it somewhere else (with easy acess, but hard to get too) Clearly he had it close by and it wasn't even a copy! And then to sit there and LIE TO HER FACE and get all bzuh about why that would piss her off?! I am so sick of the whiplash regression they keep doing to him. He already came to conclusion that he doesn't want to be that guy anymore, HOW MANY TIMES NOW? I can't wait to see how they bring it fucking back again next year, cause you know they will.
So, he had the crazy girl blow it up. BIG DEAL. It was already destroyed! What the fuck was the point of doing it again? And then to tell her that it was okay for him to be a liying liar who lies because the one thing he won't lie about is how he loves her? WTF was that shit? Lying to her about keeping a creepy part of your past is NOT showing her that you love her, you asshole. Clinging to the single Barney is so insulting to her. How the fuck does this show not see this? He can give her all the fake flowers he wants , that does not make this bullshit okay. This should be a happy time for them, so why isn't it? After all the bullshit we've had to deal with for the past couple of years, where the hell is our reward? Why are they trying to harm this couple? We know they get married, wtf. I seriously cannot. And god help us all, Ted is single again. Prepare for more I love Robin bullshit.
