This is troubling news. Ulithi seems to be becoming an inhospitable place. I say this after hearing many details from a hellish 6-month stay there by some Australian yachtie friends, Andrew & Jenny and their two lovely young daughters. I was walking home and got startled from behind by Rachel, who is back from her 2-week journey through the Outer Islands of Yap. This morning was the much-anticipated arrival of two canoes from Hawaii. The Hokulea and her companion escort vessel are both very large canoes; twin-hulled with a platform bridging the hulls, very large masts with modern triangular sails.
