Updates
My twitter->LJ syndication apparently broke when I wasn't looking, so first some of those updates:
January 26th, 4:06PM: The weather right now makes me feel like I'm not even in California.
January 26th, 4:57PM: Kinda disappointed that I can't twitter pics. I wonder if there's a decent Pownce client for iPhone, and a way to syndicate it to my LJ.
January 27th, about 10PM: Just a warning: The World of Warcraft board game sucks.
Back in Mojave now. I actually have a desk, heh.
Continuing in Rock Band. There are only a few songs that are still giving me a difficult time on guitar hard. With the drums, I'm slowly getting the extra bass beats down. One method I have for this is, in say a sequence of (green+yellow+bass, bass, green+yellow), to think of it as (green+yellow+double bass, green+yellow). If I just see that and tell my foot to kick twice quickly, it kinda works.
Bought like ten new songs from the DLC. The Metallica pack is (as expected) quite difficult. The Wolfmother track "Joker and the Thief" is apparently not a cover, about which I'm disappointed.
