There was something about Sylar that was keeping his attention but there was no way he was going to pass up a pretty lady either.
"Ah, good evening. Thank you I believe this man was actually about to explain exactly what's going on here, but your assistance would be very much appreciated." Lestat smiled sweetly inclining his head so his gray eyes showed just barely above his violet tinted glasses.

Daring a second glance at him, she caught sight of his eyes briefly and the blush on her cheeks deepened. His eyes were so...odd. As though the night did not affect them at all.
"May I offer you a place to converse that is far more comfortable than the Docks, Sire?" Molly managed to inquire after a moment.

"...baggage." Lestat finished casting another smile at the girl.

"Well as she said, the first thing you should know is that this island is called Rivelata." He glanced at the maid again, just making sure she wasn't someone he knew, and luckily she didn't seem to know him either. "People like us are pulled from our worlds and trapped here. No one knows how or why."
"You should also know that if you have some sort of special ability, it might take some time to get back." Reaching down, Sylar grabbed the coffin. With the help of his Telekinesis, he lifted it like it weighed nothing. "But they do come back."
He turned his attention to the maid. "Where are we heading?"

"There is an Inn nearby," Molly pointed out, "whose owners I am well acquainted with. They will give you lodging for a day or two until you have found a more permanent residence."
It was hard for her to lead them when she was used to remaining ten paces behind for propriety. Her sense of duty was greater than her shyness, however, so through the quiet, sleeping city she led them to the Inn.
"Would either of you like for some supper to be prepared?" The maid asked them innocently as she offered Lestat his room key.

Lestat walked in silence as they headed towards the inn, taking in the night scene of the city. It didn't seem particularly busy at this hour which could prove to be quite boring but if there was some way to get to his money....his money....
"I don't suppose there's access to any sort of modern bank around here is there?" Sylar at least looked as if he was from Lestat's era so there was a good chance he knew what he was referring to. Hell if this place was actually still on terra firma in a time that was Lestat's own there was at least a chance he could access some of his funds ( ... )

From past experiences she knew when she was no longer required and through their answers she ascertained the moment to leave.
"The staff here will attend to your needs should you require something later, Sire." The maid offered politely. "And any needs you may have, too, sir."
"If that is all, then I humbly bid you both goodnight." She fell into a deep curtsy once more before tucking her mantle around her shoulders and leaving.

"You can place that over there." Lestat said gesturing to a spot on the far side of the bed and furthest away from the window. While the coffin was quite literally air and sunlight tight he really didn't want to take anymore chances than necessary. He wasn't particularly looking forward to getting tan that quickly on this island. Hell he really didn't plan on getting tanned at all, once had been more than enough for him ( ... )

He looked back over at Sylar taking in the other male again. He wasn't particularly unattractive, which made him all the more appetizing, and he seemed well spoken. There was that gleam in Sylar's eye the one that would make most human's nervous but just attracted fiends such as Lestat. He smiled again deciding that Sylar might be fun to play with before taking a bite. If this Selene was going to be a problem well then, best she never finds out.
"So...you seem like you know what you're doing here....care to show me around some? If not tonight another day?"

"I wouldn't be the best for that job. I haven't been keeping up on a lot of the new developments, so I'm sure there are others much more suited to do that." He walked to the window, trying to decide how much longer he should stay here. "Just ask in the journals, someone will undoubtedly respond."
Sylar thought to himself that it probably wasn't the best idea to turn his back to a vampire, but he wasn't too worried. Lestat was a new arrival, he didn't stand a chance if he decided to attack. Besides, it wasn't like the vampire could kill him.
