Who: Lestat (
Damndest_prince) and Open to anyone who shows up X3
When: The night Lestat arrives.
Where: On the docks and TBA
What: Lestat awakens to find himself on a boat in some strange land. Thankfully his coffin his still with him as well as this strange book that's in his hands. What is this place? and what new adventures await the Brat Prince?
Lestat awoke to the sounds of creaking boards. At first the blond vampire was puzzled. The sound of wood creaking reminded him for a short time of the flat he used to live in with Louis and Claudia in the French Quarter, and for a moment he was tempted to throw open the lid of his coffin to see the familiar wallpaper. But the sound wasn't quite right, and there was no way he could have returned to that particular place and time. Instead the Brat Prince remained quiet as he listened to the other noises outside his coffin.
He heard the sounds of water, a bird of some sort a seagull perhaps, and the sounds of many voices in speaking in an accent he hadn't quite heard before. Where was he? This couldn't possibly be right, but deciding that if there was anyone out there ready to hurt him he could at least give them a fright first he threw open the lid of his coffin and sprung out of the maroon encasing.
The resident's of the boat hardly stirred upon Lestat's entrance though a few did look over his way. He looked up into the night sky and frowned. He wasn't quite sure what it was but Lestat didn't feel as if there was something right about this place, as if he were somehow not anywhere that he should have been. He looked down at his coffin frowning again as he noticed a leather bound book lying on the deep maroon velvet. Lestat didn't remember placing the book in the coffin with him so it's presence was strange. Curious, Lestat reached down and picked up the book and turned it over in his hands a few times before flipping through the pages all of which were blank except for the inside cover over which flowing script pronounced that
This journal is the property of Lestat de Lioncourt.
This caused Lestat to frown even more as he'd never seen this book in his life and how had someone had the foresight to add his name to the inside cover. Where in God's name was he?
Shouting from the sailors caused Lestat to pull his eyes away from the journal and out to the front of the ship. From the light of the moon Lestat could see a city that was fast approaching. His breath hitched as the beauty of the town was visible even from this distance. Lestat felt for the oddest moment as if he was back in Greece, or Italy with Marius or Gabrielle. He longed for their company suddenly and a dark cloud settled on his heart as he thought about his lost friends, but no matter none of them had been willing to help him in his past child so forget them.
Lestat shook himself of his thoughts and moved forward still clutching the journal but not before moving the lid of his coffin back into place.
Where ever he was, it seemed he was in store for another great adventure.

As the boat docked the sailors laid Lestat's coffin, his only belonging except the journal and the clothes on his back, down on the street. Lestat looked around. As it was late not many people seemed to be out, but their dress certainly gave Lestat pause. Now he really felt as if he had taken a step back in time. His own black slacks and violet silk shirt and lavender tinted sunglasses seemed horrendously out of place. He looked around, pausing to see if anyone took notice of him.
