He walked through the streets slowly, following faithfully the map that Miranda had drawn in the book. After the initial shock and stress he was finally starting to really grasp what the older exorcist had told him, he was still confused but that was to be expected. Besides he had other things to worry about besides the confusion, his Innocence for example, he had to get it back to synchronize with him, he couldn't be defenseless and he had basically just got it back. It was a cruel joke that after having his left arm destroyed and all that hard work to get it back it would be again useless for being thrown to some island God-knew-where.
Another problem where his wounds and more than those the exhaustion he felt. He hadn't gotten any wounds when he first arrived to Edo but the battle against Tyki at the ark had been intense and, thinking in perspective, crazy. Both before and after the Noah got berserk. He still couldn't believe his sword had failed to kill the Noah within his body, maybe he had mistook the effects of his sword? Or had it been something in Tyki that altered the effect? Seeing how strong he had been after that it was almost as if before he had just been playing, which pissed him off because the Noah had still been hard to beat until he raised the synchronization level.
Allen stopped as he approached the point signaled in the map. Unless he had read it wrong or Miranda messed it up they should be here. Lavi, Lenalee and Miranda... It still felt strange, he had just seen Lavi fall minutes ago.
