[ The rain was dull. It was almost gloomy, the way the sun never shone during the day anymore. Despite that, though, there was still that good mood she was in. Finally, people from her world -- her comrades, her friends -- were showing up. It was nice to have a house full of familiar faces.
There was a book she was on her lap where she sat at the window, one she'd picked up when she'd shown Lavi where the library was. She could hear someone in the house talking, along with the squeaking of her finger on the moist glass, drawing idle shapes in the fogged window.]
