However, that night, she couldn't help but glance up at the sky as the snow began to collect. And when she looked up, her eyes couldn't help but be drawn to the dancing colours and light of that haze. Suddenly she was no longer in Rivelata. She was wrapped in warmth, like a baby in its mother's womb. There was a sense of vertigo, and then a scene appeared before her eyes.
All the while people scurried about shedding the blood of 'evil twins' or exploring the lighthouse or just acting as if things had finally returned to 'normal', whatever 'normal' was for There, He had been busy... very busy.
A little over a week ago, He had met with a being with power over this realm... specifically the power of knowledge. Like his previous encounter with Tia Dalma/Calypso, Be was unsure of the being's true name and, being an immortal, it didn't really matter so much as the power the being held. Thus His dubbed him the World-weaver.
Latching onto the connections between this world and his own, He would blend the dreams. Find the parallels, the similarities, and let it end there - all else would arrive and merge in a refreshing dose of chaos when his power was fully manifest.
However, it also meant he was trapped inside his own mind for the duration due to the strain on his powers; there would be no way he could leave his own Dreamworld - not even leave his own birth-dream, in fact... not until the process was complete.
And so He dreamed. He recalled the bustling island he called his own, the faces flitting about them from generation to generation, and finally latched onto the few familiar ones.
Familiar because they had stolen from him, desecrating his temple... Or trespassed on his domain and destroyed his army... Or killed him... At least, the others had, not these beings, but their other selves...
Beyond the glass.
When all of the visions had dissolved and she was finally returned to Rivelata, she stood for a long time, stunned by what she had seen. She had been right. She definitely didn't need this.
