From the Past Until Completion [Completed!]
WHO: Yozak and "The Zikhadhara Cultists"
WHAT: A Spy Being Discovered (Probably)
WHERE: Zikhadhara's Temple (and surrounding areas)
WHEN: Day 214 (Early Evening; two days backlogged)
As promised to his Commander, Yozak had been spending the last couple of days out in the jungle, looking for any signs of the monstrosities that the journal claimed made their home out there.
The Corpse Field was gross, but otherwise uninteresting, as he took no interest in the shallow walls that hadn't been completed.
There was also the river and waterfall, but he didn't investigate that nearly as intensely, given the roughhewn workings compared to what he expected of the Temple.
What really struck him was after all of those Sky Snakes fled back into the jungle... where had they all gone? Now and again he heard the calls of birds and small mammals, but nothing like the noises those flying reptiles made.
He spent a long time taking the round-about ways to get to where the maps indicated this Temple should be, making sure to stay off the beaten paths. There were whispers of Cultists still roaming around out here, but where were they?
Yozak had also already managed a complete circuit around the stone building, but had not gone inside just yet. He was taking extreme precautions to be well-hidden in his standard gear amidst the foliage, as well as moving closer to the cool rocks to check for alternative entrances. Whether it was his inability to use magic or there simply weren't any other entrances to be found, he couldn't tell, but that did mean there was little else he could do now except check the 'ceilings' for sky-lights; he had no intentions of going in the front door -- that was just asking for trouble, given what little he had to go on as far as what lay inside there.

Shouldering his gear, he pressed against a nearby wall and checked once more before ascending it using metal claws to dig into the stone. Laying flat on the top (above where the entryway was) he started looking around -- there was a dome-shaped thing he could check out if he crawled over there...
And it looked like there was another patch of forest cut out much deeper in, but even as adept a spy as he was, there was no way he could tell what it was that lay hidden out there. Thoughts of just what exactly it could be preoccupied him for many minutes.
