WHO: Cloud Strife, Sora.
WHAT: When Cloud can't find Riku for Sora, he decides to try cheering him up with a special halloween costume.
WHERE: Sora's house.
WHEN: Day 216.

After this long, it was safe to say that Denzel, Marlene and Riku were no longer in the city. After he had promised Tifa and Sora to find their friends, he couldn't locate even one of them. He just couldn't feel their Light -- or their Darkness -- anywhere.

The only question left now was who to break the news to first.

Of course, that wasn't such a hard decision to make. He hadn't yet forgotten how it had torn through him to hear Tifa crying when she first told him the kids were missing. He always wanted to protect her, yes; but what was he supposed to do if she started to cry again? Cloud had no more promises, he had never been a very good comforter, and he certainly didn't know how to properly deal with upset females. It was always Aerith who took care of that sort of thing.

Sora would come first. That still didn't mean it was easy, though, so Cloud was bringing along a small gift to give the boy in hopes of easing his sadness -- and the guilt that the blond himself felt for being unable to keep his promise.

Due to the recent happenings in his life, Cloud looked a little messier than usual as he stood on Sora's porch, knocking on the door with a bag slung over his shoulder. He hadn't really slept right in a while, his skin was a tad paler than usual and there was a decent amount of spikes and patches of hair missing due to that damn little monster that Halloween Town brat had released in his house -- but ignoring that and the almost sad little frown on his face, the blond really didn't seem that bad. Just...

A little bit run down.
