oh no overgrowing already
So today was my first day off since the day I redesigned my journal (9/1 going into the early hours 9/2), and I haven't really felt like updating. Store manager spent Thu-Tue getting ready for/doing sales at/tearing down after Bumbershoot along with two of our employees (and tons of people from other stores, of course). We ended up mostly understaffed on Labor Day weekend thanks to that. And it was busy. And pretty stressful. But now it's over and I had today and I have tomorrow off. And then Sunday, too.
But as a result, I don't have a lot to talk about besides work. And so I haven't really updated. And I've been trying to do that more. It really doesn't help when you go to work and come home and that is about all. Oh wait, Amy and I went grocery shopping. Excitement. Though I can say that there was a truck at the grocery store with a full-size piece of paper taped to their back window typed in black text explaining that taking a free right when the stoplight shows a red arrow pointing right is illegal and the rules for right turns. Someone's got a pet peeve!
Also, someone at work set up a laser tag night Sunday after work, and I plan to go to that. I have never played laser tag. I think I also want to drive some go-karts at some point. I have done that before, but it's been quite a while.
Lots of chores to do tomorrow. Also, I was hoping to get some exercise. If I feel at all tomorrow like I did today, I don't see it happening...
