Andy and I stayed at New Braunfels last weekend, it was a blast. I don't think I've ever been treated so well at a wedding, and I think it's because most of the guests were in the service industry. The Fete was such good times. It was a glimpse into the high society of Austin. Basically each year Ballet Austin throws a Fete, it's $100 per ticket for the party, and $500 per ticket for the dinner. I go to the party and when I can I come as a guest of a company member. I was pretty stoked that I finally won a Fearless award. It's a pretty big deal award because it's my first photography award that had peer meaning. There were about 8000 images submitted and 3% won. It's also a big deal because I've been submitting every quarter for a year now. Anyways, it's because of the cat. Thank you cat.

Last night and today was spent learning Adobe inDesign. Hello, it's $700!!! I'm using the trial version, and I'm thinking I may just upgrade from Photoshop to the whole creative suite for $850 because it gives me Illustrator. So I've managed to finally reverse the weight gain, and I'm down 5 lbs. Part of it is from not being in Round Rock for lunch and eating so much, and visiting starbucks in an attempt to avoid going back to my cubicle. I still don't have a new eating routine though.
