summer camp wedding

Andy and I stayed at New Braunfels last weekend, it was a blast. I don't think I've ever been treated so well at a wedding, and I think it's because most of the guests were in the service industry. I was constantly thanked. The mother of the bride told me she's been following my work, and after the wedding many people came up to me thanking me. But this was also a special wedding since they got us a cabin, we stayed really late. I shot till 2:30 am. After the wedding was over, I followed them to the cabins. Some of the shit they did was a bit too wild for photos....

I was so exhausted, but all the guests were impressed and kept yelling: "Best Photographer Ever!"

The Texas hill country is gorgeous, we were by the river and everything was so green.

There is definitely a pressure to do much better now, people look at my work and have higher expectations. I've raised my prices again, just a little bit. I'm more strict with friend discounts. It's weird that I didn't do free stuff for people as a software engineer, but am expected to as a photographer, despite making more money as a software engineer.

On our way out, we stopped by Grannie D's country restaurant, and some of the guests saw us and our food was comped. What a great group of people!
