We're Still Beavers.

The Super Dangan Ronpa 2 Let's Play has begun! The thread was posted five hours ago and has pulled in ten thousand views already. If you are unfamiliar with Dangan Ronpa but find yourself curious about this thing that's attracting two thousand views per hour, the translation of the first game is here (there's a table of contents in the first post, but here, if you prefer, is a (very, very image-heavy) link with just the translator's posts).

I hope I become as attached to the new cast as I did to the cast of the original. Or... perhaps I don't, because this is Dangan Ronpa and most of them are probably going to die unpleasantly.

(This early Fukawa design freaks me out quite a lot because she looks exactly like me. I made it my profile picture on Facebook, and both my brother and his girlfriend thought I'd commissioned someone to draw me. Evidently I need to sue the Dangan Ronpa character designer for stealing my face.)

A couple of days ago, jamaillith introduced me to the cartoon Gravity Falls. Here is my verdict: Gravity Falls is amazing. It's basically Supernatural, but animated and produced by the Disney Channel and centred on a twelve-year-old boy-girl sibling pair and hilarious. I recommend it enthusiastically. You know you're curious about how Disney's Supernatural would work.

(I've also seen a few episodes of Adventure Time here and there, but that mostly just freaks me out a lot. Gravity Falls is less unsettling. I find it difficult to believe that Adventure Time is supposed to be child-friendly, particularly when I compare it to the programmes of my childhood. Nobody's heart ever burst out of their chest and fashioned itself some limbs in Pokémon!)
