Gravity Falls is pretty much the greatest! No one knows when it is coming back, though, which is worrisome. But it will always be in our hearts. Our hearts that do not burst out of our chests and fashion themselves some limbs. Yeah, Adventure Time...kind of does what it wants, doesn't it.

I'm astonished by how much weirder than the first game it seems to be already, two updates in. That shouldn't be possible, surely.

Gravity Falls! I can't remember the last time a television series made me laugh so much. I was quite sad when I found there were only twelve episodes (although I've only seen about half of them so far), because I tend to assume that all American television has a billion episodes for me to get stuck into.

Of those twelve episodes, probably you've seen all the ones that have actually aired. Disney is worryingly silent about when the others will be. Given the success of Adventure Time, we'd hoped a weird show would finally be allowed to stick around, but...who knows. :\

This early Fukawa design freaks me out quite a lot because she looks exactly like me.
The resemblance is rather remarkable (based on the Squall pictures you posted sometime this year) - nothing like this has ever happened to me. However, imagine if this WAS the game design for Fukawa and not just one of many concepts. At least you'd have a Halloween costume idea forever XD

And I haven't watched Gravity Falls yet, but now I have Riona!Approval :D However, I am a massive fan of Adventure Time because of how completely ridiculous it is, but I do get the whole freaked out feeling; especially when you consider that this is a 'children's cartoon' and how much of a creeper The Ice King is, amongst other things. It would probably make more sense if it was advertised as being for adults, but in the form of a children's cartoon (like Wonder Showzen is an adult show but it takes the format of a Sesame Street like

I have actually considered possibly trying to put together a Fukawa costume next Hallowe'en. Wearing a dress makes me intensely uncomfortable, but I suppose that'd help me get into character.

Just watched the opening, and now I'm going to go and watch this series. It looks amazing and creepy! And amazing :D However, I was very disappointed that Perry the platypus wasn't there... not that I should have expected him to be there, or anything...

I love how they apparently through the old characters into a blender and then used whatever popped out for most of the cast. Everyone has this unsettling level of familiarity but with some of them you can't quite put your finger on which character they're reminding you of.

Whereas with others it's all too easy. Like Fatgami. And there are definitely two characters who look like Naegi and Asahina with the beginnings of Hagakure's hair.

....and pinstripe boy is a bit like Ishimaru, with Oowada's temperament at times. I love him already for this, and subsequently fear for his life.

Also scarf boy and Raggedy Ann are just amazing and I can't wait to fall in love with them.

Well, I suppose chef guy's eyes look less weird than usual in that picture, at least. Why is your design so unsettling, chef guy?

I was also struck by Not Naegi immediately suspecting murder games. I have so many theories about what Not Naegi's role in this game might be, but they all contradict each other. He could be this game's Kirigiri, helping you out with cases; on the other hand, he could be this game's Maizono.

I'm really looking forward to finding out more about this cast!

His name is also an anagram of Naegi Makoto da, which is apparently Japanese for "It's Naegi Makoto!" Which leads to the theory that he's an older Naegi, infiltrating another despair experiment in an attempt to keep history from repeating itself, and if that's so he does seem like the best bet for filling Kirigiri's tutorial role.

I can't wait to find out what their SHSL skillsets are. I'm guessing fatgami is another heir, and jumpsuit boy is a mechanic. I think maybe horntails girl is some kind of Japanese fashion icon like Junko and Maizono were. Raggedy Ann is probably a photographer. The girl with the thing on her back is likely some kind of martial artist. Lightning brow... I don't know, but he looks amazing, and I think the girl with bandages is a nurse maybe? That looks like a nurse's uniform anime variant.

I'm drawing blanks on Pompador Chef Boy. A writer, maybe? :P

edit: Fedule is the guy you were talking about, right? Your friend who said you were like Fukawa?
