XENA IS AMAZING, WHERE CAN I GET ONE?

I saw a car with Alaska license plates and a Fastrak which is something Bay Area folks use to get across the various bridges without stopping to pay a cash toll.

To my mom, after seeing it, I said, "Hey, that Alaskan has a Fastrak so they can get across the Bridge to Nowhere."

OH MAN I CRACK MYSELF UP!!!!!

I drove past a dude on a motorcycle with one of those Indiana Jones sidecars attached. And there were two springer spaniels sitting in it. BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE DOGGLES, therefore FAIL.

That is just a fact, people.

Whenever my mom and I are out on a an adventure or just going grocery shopping, we invariably cross something we want more information about. I do this on my own too, but I'm enabled further with my mom present. We are codependent knowledge seekers.

I notice that teenagers seem to think a sweater is sufficient against a torrential downpour. They are wrong, of course. I do not understand why they do not have raincoats or umbrellas or why their parents think cotton is somehow a deterrent to rain ( Read more... )

I have rescinded my opinion of Vampire Weekend. Sort of. They're growing on me. At least M79 is anyways. It has strings with a carnivalesque mood, minus the egregious treatment of animals.

Tokyo Police Club is also oddly endearing. ODDLY. I keep wanting to call them the Tokyo Pop Club, because they're very poppy (not like the flower).
