After I first pondered how my LJ friends would think of me in an icon, I started nosing around some icon journals and communities, mostly for eye-candy. One of the communities, obsessiveicons, posted their first contest (winners here) with a theme of flowers - and offered up 1100 flower icon 'bases' as a starting point.
