Watched the the new episode today and must admit that it was infinitely better than I thought it would be. Based entirely on the advertisements, I truly thought this thing would suck and I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't. Don't get me wrong: it wasn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination. I didn't dislike the teaser, per se. It just wasn't exactly what I was looking for. Of course, the way the CBS people cut these things may play a role. I was seriously dreading this jetpack episode based on the ridiculous adverts for it and it turned out to not be as bad as I expected it to be. Mostly, I'm hoping DiNozzo Sr. is an unmitigated assclown to Tony (when they're alone), but a charming cad when other people are around. And I hope the two don't make up by the end of the ep so Tony & Ziva will have something else in common.

My general ... distaste for the show under Mr. Brennan may also play a factor in why the trailer for next week's episode didn't do much for me. He already ruined the Tony/Ziva ship IMO with last year's rank stupidity, so every time a new ep pops up revolving around Tony I start to reflexively flinch.
