Yesterday evening I cut my finger, I was going after some syran wrap (my old enemy) and the serrated edge that is used to cut the plastic wrap caught my finger and cut a nice gash in it. It is bandaged today and feeling better, but it still makes me a bit upset with myself ( Read more... )

Today I am exhausted, work has been busier than usual and I ended up wearing my boots today which have resulted in me (who hardly wears heels at all) walking around all day in 3 inch heels. Lately I have been listening to “Hattie Big Sky” by Kirby Larson, a fantastic book about a 16 year old homesteader out in Montana. I am nearing the end of the book and things don’t seem to be getting better for Hattie. Her troubles and the way she writes makes me think of things in the world today.
