We can haz warm feet!
Snuggly calf-high slipper-socks!
I first saw these in Norway and Sweden in the 1960s, and thought they were very strange - knitted boots?
Ooxc found a pair of horrid acrylic things last year - they gave off sparks in the dark!
Now we've each got a pair of proper Scandinavian knitted slipper-socks and they are super!

Borrowed Kitty steals bedroom slippers and chews them. All her hosts and hostesses have had to buy new slippers, so now her slippers are a plague in all our houses.

I've no idea who you are  or how you managed this , but I have a beautiful new 15 inch switchable TV, and I can choose whether to watch analogue or digital.
 All I have to do now is to buy a DVD player - because Sony/Panasonic don't incorporate DVD in their sets. This is because DVD players wear out faster than TVs.

I should stop whining about wheels.

There are snowdrops everywhere, and it's the weekend of the RSPB Great Birdwatch. I might do one on each of the three days in a different place, because you can nominate a garden, a park or some other place.

I'll leave the garden until last, because  the forecast is colder weather, and I can sit indoors and look ( Read more... )
