Busy morning, quiet afternoon leading to a busy evening.
This morning I was swamped with work. Lunch was yummy at Panera, and this afternoon has been tedious. Tonight we are having my husband's delayed birthday celebration: Supper of chicken and dumplings, with chocolate fudge cake for dessert. YUM! But before I get home and start cooking supper, I have to swing by my sister's and pick up the pressure canner she borrowed from me, and hit the yarn shop for two more skeins of wool to knit diaper covers with--not for me! LOL!
A friend of mine at church loved the one she was given, but buying them straight out is horridly expensive as they are imported from Europe. She's reimbursing me for the yarn, and I'm enjoying a new project. Fortunately, it looks like her son is hitting a growth plateau so he'll actually get to wear them when I get them done. If all goes as planned, it will take me a week to do one diaper cover. I'm tempted to make them look like animal prints.... *giggle*
