Our sweet girl Sable passed away early this morning at home. We were hoping to make it to her 20th birthday on May 5, but she chose to go to the Rainbow Bridge on her own time.

As you may recall, my girlfriend's cat Sable had what we thought was a stroke about a week before Christmas. After $2200 in tests and examinations, we left the emergency vets' place no more informed than when we brought her. Sable has improved wonderfully! She's back on her usual food, using the litter box regularly, and has stopped throwing up. She even rolled upside down this morning for belly rubs, which she has hasn't done since she had what we guess was her stroke.
