Is everyone besides me watching the Super Bowl? Okay, then. I have Dunkin' Donuts Munchkins! Nyah.
This threesome question is about Supernatural, but if your fandom has three male characters, I'd like to hear your opinion.
I enjoy Team Free Will in Supernatural fandom. I would enjoy it even more if I were to read a threesome, where, ahem, Cas is in the middle of a Winchester sandwich. That means Dean on the bottom, then Cas above him, and then Sam above him. Mmmm. Delicious!
The question I have is this: does it matter where the author places a name next to the slash mark? For example, if that threesome involved Dean and Sam together, would you write Dean/Sam/Cas and expect the reader to know your fic is Wincest with added Cas? If I were to see Dean/Cas/Sam should I be excited that someone has written a story for me in which Dean bottoms to Cas, who bottoms to Sam? (Delicious!)
Is this common in other fandoms where threesomes are present? How do you assess who is doing what to whom in threesome stories?
