So I walked into one of my residents rooms last night, and on his table he had a book lying open. It was titled bewildering behaviour. I don't know why but I started reading it. It was a story about a boy who had failed his exams 3 times. He couldn't work out why he kept failing, he really wanted to pass these exams. He had a pretty high IQ and hadn't struggled with any other exams he had taken. So after considering this for a while and speaking to several people he began to realise that as he was growing up his parents had always appeared very knowledgeable to him. They had always expected him to do well. When he did well they praised him and heaped love upon him
