Sewing season is almost upon us!

I've visited several Goodwill stores in the past couple of weeks and I've been really lucky finding fabric.
I've gotten several large pieces of crepe fabric, a summer weight blouse fabric, a fancy quilted chair cover in red, and, of all the things to find, I found a full-sized comforter cover made of pure blue cotton chambray that's fairly wrinkle free.
I'm not sure what I'll make out of the chambray but at least there's plenty of cloth to do it with. For right now, I better get busy with my seam ripper...

I'm planning on being deadly serious about mulching this fall seeing all the good last fall's leaf mulching did my flowerbeds this summer. Problem is that leaf rustling season won't start until sometime in November.
In the mean time, I have joined a fitness class over at the college where my Hubby works and once that gets started, I plan on getting back with my water walking.

Doctor's appointments are coming up this week, but they are only check-ups. I feel pretty good (except for the gouty days) so I'm not worried about anything.
