Prepping For Cold Weather....

The other week, an online catalog company called Blair had a top sale.
I had bought three of their "mock-neck" tops last winter and found out that I really enjoy wearing them during cold weather. (I cannot stand wearing turtle-necks that cling to my neck, but the mock-necks are loose and very comfortable.)
So you can imagine my joy in finding out that they had their mock-neck tops on sale and had thrown in a five dollar shipping charge to sweeten the deal.
I couldn't believe the prices. Most of these tops were eight dollars each and a bright pink one was steeply discounted down to four dollars.
I also managed to find a couple of their jersey pants for ten dollars each.
The tops were made of a mostly cotton knit with a bit of poly thrown in for good measure and they are made of a heavier knit than I've seen anywhere else in the past decade. The craftmanship of the jersey pants was exceptionally good as well.
I feel like I made a very good buy!

These MN tops are meant to replace all the old tee-shirts that are now way too big on me. (I'll be keeping them for gardening and cleaning work though!)

One thing that I've definitely got to start sewing are some shirts. I imagine those MN tops would look pretty good with a shirt-jacket worn over them.
