Went to the university main library for books for the Overambitious Dissertation. (You can tell how well B'ham prioritises the humanities by the fact that most of the books for them are on the 3rd and 5th floors. Science and Engineering is ground floor ( Read more... )

Right, I really need to start writing culture analysis (e.g. how does a certain show/film fit into the sociohistorical context) again if I want to keep my brane working good. Is too interesting not to.

Throw me some topics or I will be forced to write New DW as Peter Pan allegory, and I'm not in the mood to reread Barrie.

It serves me right that on the day I set aside to work on my housing application, UofB's CSS server is down, basically borking all of their websites.
