I've been trying to get a hold of my Uncle to see if we can go through my dad's hiking stuff, since it's all in storage over there. I'm especially interested in a straw filter my dad said he had. So, I had super fun yesterday, more or less. I had volunteered to drive my baby sister, Cait, into Charlotte North Carolina for her to catch her plan to fly to Arizona again. When my baby sister, Caitlyn, was ten, she started taking riding lessons down at Four Winds, which was a family owned (in the family for years) riding and training barn. Yesterday at the museum, Anna went thru the lost and found box, and found a little toy puzzle, it was a 3-D puzzle of a giant sloth (think Sid from Ice Age, only biologically correct). While Honeybear was doing busy work at the museum on Thursday, she started singing these, and others (because she was in the middle of a sugar rush). So, now I'm sharing the fond memories of singing these and others at the top of our lungs when we were knee high to a cricket, as the saying goes.
