In October of 2011, I was working at the museum. We had been invited to go to Steele Creek for an event they have yearly called Wildlife Weekend. Today I'm meeting my uncle to go through my dad's camping stuff, and Uncle Mark said we could have any of his camping stuff, too, since he said he's sure he's never going camping again, unless he's got an RV. I've been trying to get a hold of my Uncle to see if we can go through my dad's hiking stuff, since it's all in storage over there. I'm especially interested in a straw filter my dad said he had. There's noone around to take a hike with me. *pout*

I took a hike today. I hurt my right ankle five minutes into it. This is not unusual, as I have weak ankles, and that one is the worst. I just sat down for a bit, and after a few minutes I was able to walk again. I walked about two miles.
