Big news!!!
I've GOT MY VISA!!!!!! This is the visa I've been working so hard for, many sleepless nights and frazzled nerves, for the last two years - I've GOT IT!!! It will allow me to stay in Australia for two years, full work rights, come and go as I please, and I'll be on the socialized healthcare system! (I know, the healthcare system is on it's way out, but at least I caught the tail end...)
I can't believe it!!!! I feel like a real person here at last, not like a poor immigrant (although that's kind of true :) ).
