(no subject)
Yesterday was something else - there I was, in the middle lane of a busy intersection, with a car that suddenly died and wouldn't start...
Fortunately for me, these really nice people in the van behind me hopped out and helped me, calling the RACQ (Aus. equiv. of the AAA), but unfortunately, the car was not registered with the RACQ, and theytold me it would cost $88 to have to towed around the corner.
This was a problem because the day before, I had misplaced my pocketbook at the shopping center, and that very morning had frozen my credit card, and transferred all the $ in my bank account into Jon's, just in case. This left me with no money!!! What the heck was I going to do?
Well, the RACQ must have felt sorry for me (and of course I was in a busy intersection!) so they sent someone out anyway, and towed me to safety....
Jon tried to start the car up when he came home and guess what? Yes, it started without any problem.
AARRGGGHHHH!
p.s. in my dream last night, a voice told me to, "look in your astroturf tote bag when you wake up"...and there was my pocketbook!!!
