Mathew's sister-in-law is in labor. The fate of the Asmussen name depends on this child. Mathew has two or three sisters, but he has only one brother; the brother and his wife have decided that they only want one child. If this child is not a male, then the name would be up to Mathew to carry on, and relying on Mathew for anything is really hit or miss. He just left me a voicemail a little while ago saying that he's nervous, so of course he's out having a cigarette. Let's hope it's a boy so Mathew doesn't feel compelled to reproduce.
I watched Desperate Housewives in the ER waiting room here at work. Oh well, I awarded myself an hour long lunch. The episode wasn't all that good.
Today was my last day at the Y, which felt bizarre since I have worked there so long. I was taking my stuff out of the refrigerator feeling absolutely stunned that I won't have business to go back there and put stuff in the refrigerator anymore. I simply left for like half an hour during my shift to go talk to Jeffrey, and then I left 20 minutes early. What are they going to do, fire me?
