Sockenschuss - actually a Sockenschuss is (according to wikipedia) when you casually sew your socks together so you don´t have to search them. However if someone tells you that you have one it means that you are a bit on the odd side ( Read more... )

Oooh, I wonder if "Uppsala" is a bit like in English when you says "oops-a-daisy" when you trip over?

Uppsala has no real meaning in German, but oops-a-daisy sounds damn cute! Unfortunetly I think I´d confuse people even more than I already do if I use that one :-D I think I confuse Swedes when I hang around there, stumble and shout the name of one of their bigger cities ;-)

Well I spose you'd find it odd if a Swede fell over in Germany and went "FRANKFURT!"

as long as they say it with a cute swedish accent i´m fine with any town they might say :-D
