Madison!
So I am now in my own apartment in Madison, with only a few surprises.
Surprise 1) two month minimum, on what was sold as a month-to month, not a huge problem.
Surprise 2) water is undrinkable. still usable for cooking and cleaning, but not drinking. minor problem, water is really cheap. and hopefully a water filter will fix the problem.
Surprise 3) THERE IS NO INTERNET! This is the big one. They do have charter cable and the landlady mentioned that charter might be able to hook me up if I paid for it all, I will be looking into this.
Aside from those everything is going quite well. I will likely be stopping in at a friend's house and/or a cafe with internet everyday, but if you need to get in touch with me my new cell # is 779 348 2401.
