So, I'm leaving for Germany on Monday, so that whole nervous paranoia is back. Any of you world travelers have any last minute tips for me? I mean, I have my passport, but is that enough? I'm also paranoid about my debit card getting lost or stolen as that'll be my only form of money until I can get to a tyme machine over in Germany, cause my bank told me that travelers checks probably wouldn't do me any good and it would have cost me 8 bucks to get some German money over-nighted to the bank for me. I also no longer have a credit card since Capitol One screwed me over so royally, and my wimpy state checks sure as hell won't do me any good. Should I grab a few bucks worth of American money and take it with me to get converted once I land, or is that also more trouble than its worth? What about the uber long trip over there... I have motion sick pills and Tylonel PM and Severe Tylonel Allergy all that fun stuff, but is there any other meds you would recommend me to take? Also, I hope to *god* the signs at Rekjavic (Iceland airport - only spelled right) are also in English cause, dude, I most definitely do *not* know a word of Icelandic and I only have an hours lee-way to find my gate up there... come to think of it, I also hope it's small-ish and I don't have to ask too many questions to get where I need to go, cause, yeah, did I mention I'm paranoid?

Just, GAH! I mean, WOHOO! I'M GOING TO GERMANY!, but damned if it isn't a bit nerve wracking.

germany, travel, anxiety, paranoia, omg
