Tuesday Tell All, week 3

Not as successful this week as I was last, though in my defense I was fighting off a cold for half the week. Still am, to a degree.

LAST WEEK I wanted to:
* Apply for at least three jobs.
---- I only managed to apply for one, but I'll take it. Also, to kind of make up for it, I do have a phone interview tomorrow for one of the jobs I applied for last week, so hey, progress.
* Plant the packet or two of seeds I picked up for The Garden Project that need to be started, inside, 6-8 weeks before the regular planting season.
---- Did it. On Sunday I was feeling at least mostly human, and it was nice outside, so I managed to find the energy to fill one little starter plastic container thing with dirt and some seeds.
* Spend at least a few hours outside continuing the Clean Up process for The Garden Project, because really, wouldn't it be nice if we actually finished something for once?
---- Didn't make it to the 'a few hours' I had planned, but I was out there for an hour or so yesterday pulling up nettles. Still have a long way to go, but I got one bucket of weeds taken care of and hauled to the burn pile
* Swim laps at least once this week, preferably twice.
---- Once yes, twice no. Managed to swim before my locker room shift on Thursday.
* Continue to try and eat at least one healthyish meal a day.
---- If you will allow that a bowl of Frosted Shredded Wheat for breakfast every morning qualifies as healthy, then yes. Otherwise I missed a few days.

So, not great, but not a total failure, either. I'd blame getting sick, but really, it was just One Of Those Weeks.

THIS WEEK I want to
* Work more in the garden. There are a lot of nettles to clear and only a month and a half or so before it's officially planting season up here.
* Apply for at least one job AND try and make up for the two I missed last week. So still shooting for three applications.
* Swim laps at least once, preferably twice.
* Spend a half hour or so doing your own Water Aerobics Thing to make up for not having any swim lessons or programs running this week.
* Fold laundry. Seriously - when the pile is inching toward hip-height, it is way past time to try and thin it down a bit. Also, our sock drawer doesn't have any plain white socks left.
